YOUNG ADULT RETREAT

“What does God want me to do?”

This is the overarching cry of many young adults (ages 18-30 something). We have started a path in life, but we aren’t sure if that’s what we want to do with the rest of our lives. What am I doing? Do I find fulfillment in this? What will I do next? Where will I go?

UMM is excited to announce a place for young adults to gather together in God’s creation in the crisp fall air to look into some of these questions. September 22-23, we invite you to come worship God around the campfire, make a project in the Creativity Center, take a cooking class, and play games with people your age while we discuss what God has done in our lives and where He’s bringing us next through the leading of Pastor Aaron Phoenix.

Young Adult Retreat is for those who are college-aged, 20s and younger 30s. We welcome young adults from all congregations, and faith walks and encourage you to invite your friends.

This retreat is a great place to meet new people and get better connected within our church community. It's an incredible opportunity to get away from the busyness, grow in your relationship with Christ, and build community with other believers.

UMM STORY

Upper Missouri Ministries is located on 203 acres on the shores of Springbrook Dam. The shore line surrounds most of the camp site, which is on a peninsula nestled in the coulee bottom.

This is a perfect setting for kids and families to experience the Love and Grace of Jesus through time in creation and community that allows faith in Christ Jesus to be sparked.

Children (of all ages) are in need of a place to slow down and reconnect with nature and other people. And we all need to reconnect with the Love and Grace of God found in Jesus. Time at Camp UMM provides experiences in services, worship, study, and quiet time. Campers return to their homes, families, and communities with faith in Christ Jesus that is sparked and with tools that will allow them to weather the storms of life.
